Music Ministry at Peace

Peace Church feels that music is an important way to share God’s word with others

We currently have one choir that is open to anyone high school age and older. We invite anyone that likes to sing to join us. We practice every Wednesday evening at 6:30 from September through May. Peace Choir sings on the first Sunday of each month and for holidays and other special services.

We have had a children’s choir, The Half Notes for several years. Currently this group isn’t meeting as we do not have enough interested kids.

The Peace Singers is a group of five women that love to sing. This group has sung together a long time and they share their music for church services periodically as well as special events. They also have sung for other groups on request.

The Peace Praise Team sings on the fourth Sunday of the month and performs more contemporary Christian music. This group in accompanied by two guitars, keyboard, and are joined by drum players on occasion. Peace Praise Team meets at 6:30 on Thursday evenings.

We try to have special music at all our services. In addition to the choir, Peace Praise Team and Peace Singers, we also share recordings, piano meditations, solos, instrumentals, and other groups. We are always open for anyone that would like to share their talents for the special music.
